World Premiere at the Danish Championship



The sailors are underway with the first two course races in the first-ever Danish Championship in single-handed sailing. It's taking place in Nyborg.

The conditions will be nearly perfect as the sailors embark on the first Danish Championship in single-handed sailing. There will be two course races on Nyborg Fjord. Light winds from the southeast and full sun are expected. The races can be followed via tracking. Tractrac has mapped the boats so you can see who is leading in real-time and who is ahead after corrected time according to DH.


Two course races are scheduled for today and two more tomorrow before the participants head out on a 95-nautical-mile long-distance race, which will count double in the scoring when Denmark's best single-handed sailor is determined.

Eleven boats have registered, ten are starting: seven Danish, two Swedish, and one German.Photographer Peter Brøgger is on the water, following the world premiere from the front row.
